Stewardship Hedge Mix
Our Countryside Stewardship hedging is tailored to meet the requirements of BN11 (Planting new hedges) and BN7 (Hedgerow gapping up) items for the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
This mix is based on Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) with a selection of other native species for a biodiverse, functional, and aesthetically pleasing hedge. The other species in the hedge generally include, but are not limited to, some of the varieties shown below. If there are particular varieties that you would like to avoid then please let us know and we will not include these. The mix is supplied at 6 plants per meter and the plants are two years old which are key requirements forboth BN7 and BN11 grants.
Most rural hedges will need protecting from rabbits and we are able to supply all the sundries you need for this.
